Makihara and Nagaoka were once handshaker partners with each other who also worked together to study about handshakers. They had a very good relationship with each other until the sudden disappearances of their two professors leaving them along with their two twin daughters. Nagaoka suddenly went haywire taking one of the twins. Makihara and Nagaoka lost their relationship with each other and ended their role as handshakers.
